March Ink Poem :HUMANS

We are all humans
Trying to find our place in this world
Building with our hands
Thinking with our mind
Walking with our foot
Sometimes crawling on four

We are all tourists trying to enjoy our life
We are all storytellers with our own story to tell
We are teachers with lessons and knowledge to share
We are doctors that try to heal wound and fractures
We are humans
With our own perceptions and prejudices that we all bring to this world
Given by our mother and father
Alongside with race,name,nationality and religion
But don’t make these limitations limit you
Throw that prejudices and perceptions far

Listen with your ears
For their story, theories, opinions  ,jokes or  riddles
Laugh or cry when necessary
Understands with your heart and mind
When you put yourself in their loafers or heels or barefeet
Look them straight in the eyes
No superiority or inferiority
From a human to another
From a friend to another
From a storyteller to another

Only this way that you will understand
The story of a 20 year old
Who works at McDonalds and still searching for a place to call home
The knowledge of a 45 year old
Who is diligent but underappreciated by his students
The feelings of a 70 year old
Who missed her grandchildren that she haven’t seen in a year
We are all Humans
With something to give
And something to learn
From one and another
So take that stinking ball of prejudices, hate and perceptions
Throw it far away with all your might
Before you turn to your right
Looking for a story to learn
