Assalamualaikum and hi!

We are thrilled to say that the deadline of this competition has been extended; before 12am of Monday, 14th September 2015. Here are the details!

Theme: Patterns and Repetition

"Pattern means the repetition of an element in a photograph. The element could be anything; natural or manmade. Interesting patterns occur when strong graphic elements like colors, tones, shapes, forms or lines repeat themselves."

How to enter
Simply email your photos to ppmc4all@yahoo.ie (only send YOUR OWN PHOTOS, pictures sent by other people under your name will not be considered) before midnight of 14th September 2015. (Yes, ye have ALL summer to compose and frame your photos!)
In the email, include your full name, course, photo title, and 10 words max of photo description (story behind it, relatable quotes, poems, etc)

Just like before, 40% of judging marks will be determined by viewers.
Only photo submissions which meet the requirements to enter will be uploaded to Cork Malaysian Student Association Facebook page, and the number of likes your photo(s) get will contribute to 40% of judging marks. However, the identity of contestants will be anonymous to avoid bias. Viewers (can be anyone, not necessarily PPMC members) are given 1 week (until midnight of 21st September) to like the uploaded photos before the number of votes are finalized. The rest of 60% professional judging marks are made based on the closeness of the photo to the theme, and your creativity. So do your best, okay?

The best 3 photos will be crowned as winner(s) (thus having 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) and will be given mystery prizes. Its possible to have one winner if his (or her) photos are voted to be the best 3 photos.

Rules
1) This competition is opened to all PPMC members.
2) Photos can be taken using DSLR, compact digital camera, phone camera etc.

*No more minimal editing rules. Edit your pictures as you wish :)
*And yes, no more maximum number of submissions per person. Submit to us as many as ye want! Go wild!

All the best everyone!
