This year, PPMC is delighted to introduce a new competition for all PPMC members - Travelogue Competition. With the theme of Winter Break Reflection, this competition aims to encourage our members to think, reflect and share their experiences during winter break of 2014.
Travelogue may refer to two things; travel documentary or travel literature. In this competition, travelogue refers to travel literature. With a range of 300 - 500 words and 1-3 pictures, participants can write about any new experiences, thoughts, or lessons that they had learnt during their journey. It can be written in Malay or English. Pen name is allowed but we need to know your identity (for prize identification). In simple words, tell us about your adventure! Even if you just went to winter camp (PUISI, PMS, RISE, JUMS) and not anywhere else, you can still join :)
You can submit your work to ppm4all@yahoo.ie . Only 1 submission can be made per person. The best 4 submissions will be published on this blog, and the best 2 of them will be picked as winners. Each winner will be given €20 cash as a prize. Each submission is professionally judged based on your creativity, quality and essence of your story. The more your writing stimulates others to think and reflect, the more marks you will get.
The deadline for this competition would be on 28th January 2015. So start writing! ^^
